Our product

The First Recipe Book is a digital PDF. It can be read on a phone, tablet or computer, and you are welcome to print it at home. No physical book or other physical product is supplied.

The product description, price and contents shown on the website at the time of purchase form part of your order.

Orders and payment

Your order is accepted when Shopify confirms the order following successful payment. The price and any applicable taxes or currency information are shown during checkout.

Digital delivery

For a normal purchase, a download link is emailed automatically after successful payment, usually within a minute. If you do not see it, please check your spam or junk folder. If it still has not arrived, email info@bakewithtan.com.

No special software is normally required to open the PDF on a modern phone, tablet or computer.

Gift purchases

If you choose “Buy the digital book (PDF) as a gift”, you can provide the recipient's name, email address, an optional personal message and the date you would like it delivered.

The digital book is intended to be emailed directly to the recipient on the selected date, while the purchaser's order confirmation and payment receipt are sent separately to the purchaser. Please check recipient information carefully before completing the purchase.

Use on your devices

You may download the digital book on multiple personal devices. Once you have saved the PDF, it is yours to keep for your personal use.

Personal-use licence

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the digital book for your own private use.

You may save the book on your personal devices and print it at home. You must not reproduce, redistribute, resell, upload, publish or commercially exploit the book or its contents without permission from Bake With Tan Ltd.

Baking videos

Each of the ten recipes includes a link to a step-by-step baking video. The videos are also available on Bake With Tan's social media channels. You can pause, rewind and bake along at your own pace.

Baking information

Recipes, videos and other content are provided for general baking guidance. Please use appropriate care when working with ovens, hot equipment, kitchen appliances, ingredients and allergens. You remain responsible for checking that ingredients are appropriate for you and anyone you are baking for.

Problems with your digital product

If you have difficulty accessing the product or believe the digital content is faulty or does not match its description, contact info@bakewithtan.com. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

Refunds and cancellation

Our Return and Refund Policy forms part of these terms and explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for digital content.

Intellectual property

The recipes, written material, design, photographs, videos and other content supplied by Bake With Tan remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Purchasing the digital book does not transfer ownership of those rights to you.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms applying to your purchase are those made available when your order is placed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, this does not remove any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in the country where you live.
