Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Bake with Tan collects, why it's collected, and what happens to it. Any questions, email info@bakewithtan.com.

What I collect

• Your name and email address when you buy the digital book.
• If you buy the book as a gift: the recipient's name and email address, your message, and the delivery date you choose.
• Your email address if you ask to be notified when the book launches.
• Payment details are entered on Shopify's secure checkout. I never see or store your card details.

Why I collect it

• To send you the digital book and your order confirmation.
• To send a gift to the person you've chosen, on the date you've chosen.
• To answer you if you get in touch.
• To let you know when something new is available, if you've asked me to.

Who else sees it

Only the services needed to run the shop: Shopify (orders and payments) and the email service that delivers your download and gift emails. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

How long it's kept

Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Newsletter and launch-notification emails are kept until you ask to be removed.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email info@bakewithtan.com and I'll deal with it within 30 days.

Cookies

The site uses only what's needed to keep your basket working and remember that you're signed in. Shopify's checkout sets its own cookies to process your order securely.
